The Positive Paths Women’s Day of Mentoring and Empowerment event will provide participants with the opportunity to hear from and network with community leaders and business owners. The event includes breakout sessions focused on improving career readiness, overcoming the imposter syndrome, the do’s and don’ts of social media in your job search, budgeting and planning for women, how to deal with stress and improve work/life balance, how to plan for a home purchase, and more. Our very own Mayor Wheatley will be participating in the speed mentoring portion of the program.
Dress for Success Phoenix will be on site for interview suitings in the Mobile Career Center Unit and will also offer a breakout session. (Sign up for an interview suiting ahead of time using the ticket add-on option). Complimentary head shots will be available to participants that visit the Mobile Career Center Unit, or those that attend the Dress for Success or LinkedIn breakout sessions.
There is no cost to attend! Breakfast and lunch provided. We do ask that all participants register in order to plan for food.
